I Built Myself a PM Career Translator for a Career Change πŸ‘€

Exploring what AI can do, building products, putting ideas into practice, and being a half-trained STEM student solving technical problems... laughter through tears, breakdowns, surprises... all of it has become a history of experience πŸ˜‚

I originally built it with Replit, but I used up the monthly quota and could not keep up with how quickly it burned money... So I manually worked with Claude and Gemini to fix bugs and adjust details. That eventually became the current version. See the examples in the images for what it can do, in both Chinese and English!

When I tried to deploy it, I first switched to Vercel but could not solve the API-call problem. So I moved it to Render, and it was finally live!!

Btw, I used my own AI VCβ€”Reality Check, my previous product MVPβ€”to roast this idea... It gave me a soft pass (4/10) πŸ˜‚ So much room to improve!

To sum up what I learned from building these product MVPs through vibe coding: prompt design and fine-tuning UI details are the most challenging parts. (I even started wondering whether interfaces generated through vibe coding could become manually draggable and editable, with the code adjusting automatically. Could that become a future trend?

The next thing is that drawing a wireframe, including the details, before asking a tool to write code can greatly reduce the time spent adjusting those details later.
